For Space I wanted to make a planetarium, based on a nostalgic childhood feeling about 'space'.
Working with different clay colours in the extruder I discovered that this created beautiful long clay tubes, with the appearance of pieces of garden hose.
The idea was to make a sculpture that would dissappear as soon as it was 'over'. I thought to do this by making something from sound.
In this work I made a hanging installation that was, actually, about the sound of ceramics.
In the installation and performance Yes We're Open, I stamped floral patterns on a roll of paper using fresh flowers and paint.
In this spatial installation, I behaved as a shop keeper.
